I like what you are doing with the theme of “portal”. This word has a lot of new implications being a cosmological word but also a contemporary computer/internet word. It also have ancient associations, a door to some kind of mystery. Open sesame. How a portal should be depicted visually is an interesting problem. I like the portal in the painting of big bird and the portal. Also, maybe all works of art should be seen as portals that one enters. The surface rules but we feel as though we should go inside.

I found this painting very interesting, a lot of color, shapes, and creativity. The mind is a facisnating thing to have and how people see things in different ways. Very interesting this painting(s) is to me, when I first scrolled down the website to check the painting this is the first that caught my eyes. The shapes can potray a lot of different things, like for example when I first stopped and looked. To me the painting resembled a turtle or it could resemble a medallion. and the wonderful colors put together.
